NIFT 2025 Result 

NIFT 2025 Result will be released by the authority after a few days from the completion of entrance test. Authority will release the NIFT result for every exam participant candidate individually through online mode. Candidates will be able to check their NIFT result. Final result for PG courses will be declared in the second week of May 2025.

The final result for both UG and PG Courses will be released separately. Candidates will be able to check their result by login through the respective portals only. Authority will not send any result to any candidates individually through post or any other offline mode.

Cut Off will be released through online mode after declaration of the result. The result will be prepared by the authority on the basis of final NIFT answer key.

The NIFT result will consist of performance of candidates in the entrance examination. On the basis of NIFT result, the authority will prepare a merit list containing the names of shortlisted candidates for counselling rounds.

NIFT 2025 Result Dates

NIFT result will be released a few days prior to the completion of entrance test. The NIFT examination will be conducted in the first week of February 2025 through online mode. Candidates will be able to check their NIFT result in the second week of May 2025.

How to Check the NIFT Result

Following are the complete step by step process for checking the NIFT result 2025:

• Visit the website of NIFT. (Link will be given above)
• A result page will be opened on the screen.
• Fill any two of the following details, i.e. roll number, date of birth & application number.
• Then, click on “Submit” button.
• The result will appear on the computer screen.
• Check it & download for further process.
• Keep a print copy of it for admission procedure.

NIFT 2025 GD-PI Details

On the basis of candidates performances in NIFT written test GAT and CAT. Candidates shortlisted will be called for Situation Test for B.Des admission. For BF.Tech. candidates, GAT will be the final test for selection. Candidates for M.Des will have to take the GAT and CAT.

On the basis of the result in GAT and CAT, in the case of M.Des. and GAT in the case of M.F.Tech and MFM, candidates will be called for Group Discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI).

Group Discussion:

Shortlisted candidates for PG courses from the written test will be required to undergo Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

GD will comprise approximately 15 to 20 minutes of discussion on a case study assigned, on which a panel of experts will assess the candidates on various parameters including:

• Conceptual clarity.
• Knowledge of the topic assigned.
• Contribution made to the topic.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Ability to generate new ideas.
• Problem solving approach.
• Leadership qualities.
• Effective communication.

Personal Interview:

Candidates will be evaluated on the various parameters as listed below by a panel, in the Personal Interview:

• Career orientation.
• Aptness for the course.
• Overall personal achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
• General awareness and aptitude, creative and lateral thinking.

NIFT Merit List 2025

The merit list will be prepared by the authority after completion of both stages. NIFT 2025 Merit List will be drawn on the basis of marks secured by candidates in Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds (as applicable).

The weightage assigned to each test in the final merit list of the examination will be as follows:

In case of tie, then older candidates (as per date of birth) will get preference in the merit list.
