NIMCET 2024 Application Form can be filled till 20th April 2024. It is a Common Entrance National Level Examination conducted by National Institute of Technology (NITs) on rotation basis. This year, examination is being organised by NIT Jamshedpur. This exam is conducted for admission into MCA programme. The scores of NIMCET will be accepted by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal. Candidates can go through the complete NIMCET application 2024 form details below:

• The NIMCET 2024 application form procedure has been started from 1st March 2024.
• The registration form is available through online mode only. No offline mode is available to submit the form.
• Candidates are required to fill all the necessary details in the form such as personal details, academic details, communication address and other asked details.

NIMCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to fulfil the given NIMCET eligibility criteria 2024 before filling out the application form:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates with any bachelor degree with Mathematics/ statistics for a minimum of 3 years full time or B.E/ B.Tech or some equivalent exam from a recognized University will be able eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Applicants must have completed their B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT for 3 years from Open Universities will also be able to apply for the entrance exam.
• Marks: Candidates of Indian National must have at least 60% as aggregate or 6.5/ 10 CGPA and 55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST will also be applied for the exam.
• Appearing: Candidates who will be appearing in the final year of qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply for the exam.

NIMCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The complete NIMCET exam pattern 2024 is given below:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: Total 2 hours (120 minutes) will be given to solve the paper.
• Total Question: Total 120 questions will be asked in the exam.
• Type of Questions: The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) pattern only.
• Language: Only English language will be available in the exam.
• Sections: The exam paper will be divided into 4 sections. There will be different marks of each section.
• Marking Scheme: For each correction response 4 marks will be awarded.
• Negative Marking: 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

NIMCET 2024 Admit Card

The NIMCET admit card will be released by the authority from 28th May 2024. The admit card will be available through online mode only. Candidates will be able to download the admit card after releasing it on the website. Candidates will have to download the admit card from the website through online mode, the authority will not provide any offline mode system for admit card.

Details like name, father name, category, photograph, signature, exam date, exam venue, reporting time and other exam day instructions will be there in the admit card. Candidates must keep the printout of the admit card with them for further usage on the day of exam.

NIMCET 2024 Answer Key

The authority will release the NIMCET answer key after the commencement of exam. Candidates will be able to access the answer key through online mode only. To calculate the expected scores in the NIMCET 2024 entrance exam candidates will access the answer key.

Before the announcement of the result, the NIMCET 2024 answer key will be published on the website. The objection facility will also be provided by the authority. For challenging it, candidates will have to send an email to NIMCET authority within the given period of time. The final answer key will be released after considering all the raised objections.

NIMCET 2024 Result

The NIMCET result will be announced 25th June 2024. The NIMCET 2024 result will be declared through online mode on the website. On the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam, a rank list will be prepared by the authority.
