UGC NET Result 2025
The provisional result of the examination will be declared in July 2025 for June Exam. It will be declared after the successful completion of the examination for June session. The candidates will need to check their result through online mode.
The NTA will not issue the mark sheet for qualified or not qualified candidates. Candidates must take printout of UGC NET 2025 result for further use.
UGC NET 2025 Result Date
The NTA will declare the UGC NET result 2025 through the online mode. The exam for June session will be conducted on 21st to 30th June 2025 & for December session it will be conducted in January 2026. Result for the June session will be declared in July 2025.
Candidates must check their results by entering their roll number, application number and date of birth on the website login page. No candidates are informed individually about the releasing of their result. The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on the website after declaration of result.
How to Check UGC NET Result 2025
- Go to the official website of NTA (Link will be given above).
- A new result page is opened on the screen.
- Enter your roll number, application number and date of birth and click on the submit button.
- Your result will appear in the PDf format.
- Download it and take a printout of the result for further process.

UGC NET Answer Key 2025
After the successful completion of UGC NET examination, the exam conducting authority will release the answer key for 55 NET subject in June 2025. UGC NET answer key will be released via online mode. The final answer key will also publish after submission of objections.
Authority will also provide with the facility to challenge the OMR Sheet/ answer key for candidates. For challenging each question, candidates must have to submit the Rs. 1000/. If the challenge is accepted by the authority, the fee will get refunded.
Minimum Marks Obtained In UGC NET 2025
Here we have mentioned assume percentage for each category & paper:

UGC NET Merit List 2025
A separate category-wise and subject-wise merit list will be prepared for the candidates those obtained the qualifying percentile of marks. Top 15% candidates from the merit list will be declared NET qualified for eligibility of Assistant professor only.
Among NET qualified candidates a separate merit list will be carried out for the award of JRF. The qualifying marks criteria set by the NTA/ UGC will be final.
UGC NET 2025 Selection Procedure
Candidates qualifying the entrance exam UGC NET 2025 will get selected in subject & category wise merit list. Top 6% of total students who have appeared for both papers in the test will be considered qualified in entrance test.
Candidates seeking admission into various Indian university/ institutions, the position of Assistant Professor/ JRF will be offered on the cut-off score secured as per the category

Sir, actually I got 38/100 in Paper 1 and 80/200 in Paper 2, so first of all i want to know if I passed or failed in the exam. Actually if I compare the cut off marks for OBC it is 35% in both papers, so I think that i am passed in this exam. Now what you will do next , or what I have to do like next step? Please tell me.
