Entrance exam PESSAT for B.Tech admission has been scrapped from 2025. Now admission to B.Tech will be done through JEE Main & KCET scores only. To get admission in an MBA program, candidates must take the PES Entrance test in case they do not have a valid MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ NMAT scores.

PES University 2026 Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Those candidates who have passed the class 12th level exam or its equivalent from any recognized board will be eligible. 
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as a compulsory subject. 
• Marks: Candidates must score at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for the exam. 
• Selection: Candidates with KCET/ JEE Main scores will be eligible to apply. 

BCA Course: 

• Qualification: Applicants with either a 10+2 level exam or the 10+3 diploma exam will be eligible. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% aggregate marks to apply. 
• Subjects: Candidates with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 level will apply. 

MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates with Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree can apply for the exam. 
• Marks: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in qualifying exam. 
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates who have a valid score of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ PGCET will also be eligible.
