  1. My catagory certificate was not ready so i applied as a general candidate in session 1. Now can I apply with my catagory certificate in session 2??

    1. Yes you can apply for JEE Main registration. Since Father/Mother/Guardian’s name etc. is not mentioned in Aadhaar, you have to fill such details separately in the online application form.

    1. Uploading the wrong Aadhaar can lead to form rejection. Get in touch with NTA JEE Main helpdesk and replace it with the student’s Aadhaar.

  2. Ears should be visible in aadhar for jee? It should be compulsory or not
And they will see only face in aadhar for jee mains 2026

    1. Hello, ears need not be visible in Aadhaar photo for JEE Main 2026. NTA only requires that your face is clearly identifiable for verification.

  3. I have trying to correct my aadhar with marksheet many times but aadhar thumb facilities are not open in my city what can I do now

    1. No need to worry. NTA has stated that any name mismatch between Aadhaar and the Class 10 certificate can be resolved during the JEE Main 2026 application process. An option will be provided within the online form itself to address this issue.

    1. You should correct the spelling in Aadhaar and marksheet first, as mismatched details can cause issues during JEE Main registration.
