JEE Main Update: The National Testing Agency has released an important advisory and instructions for aspirants planning to take the JEE Main 2026 exam.
For Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 registration, the NTA has requested that candidates apply with all correct and updated documents to avoid application rejection.
JEE Main 2026 registration for the January session will begin in October. The application form link, along with other details, will be released at jeemain.nta.nic.in
JEE Main 2026 Registration Documents
The NTA JEE advisory reads that all eligible aspirants are advised to ensure that the following documents are updated well in advance/ before applying for the JEE (Main)-2026, in order to avoid any discrepancies, grievances, or rejection at a later stage:-
- Aadhaar Card– Aadhaar Card should be updated with the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10th certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.
- UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities)– UDID Card should be valid, updated, and renewed as required.
- Category Certificates- The category certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) should be updated and valid
The JEE Main 2026 session 1 examinations are expected to be held in the fourth week of January 2026 and session 2 in the first week of April 2026.
