JEE Main 2026 Latest Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the JEE Main 2026 Exam date for Session 1. The exam date postponement has been notified by NTA for West Bengal state candidates.

In a recent announcement for JEE Main 2026, NTA on its Twitter Handle started – “In view of the representations received from candidates in the state of West Bengal regarding the celebration of Saraswati pooja on 23rd January 2026, it has been declared that all the candidates scheduled to appear for JEE Main in West Bengal on 23rd January 2026 shall be allotted another date of examination among the advertised dates for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination.”

For JEE Main 2026, the JEE Apex Board (JAB) has been reconstituted and will oversee the exam through NTA, ensuring better coordination with JEE Advanced and stronger transparency and administrative measures.

For this session,NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 1 between 21 January 2026 to 29 January 2026 and session 2 between 2 April 2026 to 9 April 2026.

Last year, NTA conducted the JEE Main 2025 session 1 for B.E /B.Tech: January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025, and for B.Arch/B.Plan: January 30, 2025. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 was held on B.E/B.Tech: April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, 2025. and for B.Arch/B.Plan: April 9, 2025.
