In case of two or more candidates scores similar aggregate marks in Jharkhand Polytechnic 2024 entrance examination, then tie-breaking will be applied by the board to determine the rank of candidates in following ways:

• In case of a tie, marks obtained in Mathematics subject will be given preference.
• The marks obtained in Chemistry subject will be given preference.
• The merit will be given as per the date of birth of candidates.
• If a tie still remains, then name of candidates in alphabetical order will be considered.
