NEST 2022 Answer Key

Answer Key has been released by the exam conducting authority after few days from the completion of examination. Answer keys has been sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. Candidates can also raise the objections against the answer key till 25th May 2022.

The answer key contain the correct answer of every asked question in the examination. With the NEST 2022 Answer Key, candidates are able to predict their marks even before the declaration of result.

NEST 2022 Result

Authority has released the NEST result for every exam participated candidates individually though online mode. Candidates are able to check there from 5th July 2022 through the website of exam conducting authority.

The NEST Result 2022 will not be sent to any candidates individually through by post of any other offline mode. Candidates have to login into the website of authority for checking their result.

Candidates should keep their result safe till the completion of admission procedure as result could be required at the time of counselling.

NEST 2022 Cut Off

Cut off is the minimum marks set by the participating institution separately. Candidates must have to score more than the prescribed cut off marks to be eligible to the further admission procedure.

Authority has released the category wise cut off marks for every category. Candidates must have to score the marks in NEST 2022 Examination as per the category. On the basis of Cut off Marks authority has prepared the merit list for every qualified candidates.

NEST 2022 Counselling

The counselling is conducted by the NISER and UM-DAE-CBS separately through offline mode. Candidates have to participate in the counselling procedure for admission in offered programs at NISER and UM-DAE-CBS campuses.

Authority conducts the counselling procedure in various rounds on the basis of number of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Authority will only allow the qualified candidates of the examination for participating in the counselling process.

Candidates will also have to report at the prescribed counselling centre with following documents:

  • 10th & 12th Certificate
  • 10th & 12th Mark sheet
  • NEST 2022 Admit Card
  • Passport size photographs
  • Disability certificate (if required)
  • Caste certificate
  • Valid photo ID proof
  • NEST 2022 Score card
  • Provisional call letter, etc.

NEST Eligibility Criteria

Following is complete NEST eligibility norms candidates must satisfy to be eligible for the exam:

  • Qualifying: Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.
  • Subject: Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as mandatory subject in the qualifying examination.
  • Percentage: Candidates should have obtained minimum 60% marks (55% for reserved category) candidates to be eligible.
  • Age Limit: Category must be born on or after 1st August 2002 to be eligible for NEST 5 years of relaxation will be given to SC/ ST category candidates.

NEST 2022 Exam Pattern

Following is the complete NEST pattern for the examination:

  • Mode of Examination: NEST 2022 examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT/online exam).
  • Questions Type: Question Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Time Duration3 hours and 30 Minutes will be given to candidates for completing the examination.
  • Total marks: The questions will be consist of total 200 marks.
  • Sections: There will be total 4 sections which includes subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

NEST 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus of NEST 2022 will consist of various topics from the 11th and 12th class syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

NEST 2022 Admit Card

Admit Card is an important document candidates will have to carry while appearing in the exam. Authority has released the admit card before few weeks from the exam. Candidates are able to download the admit card from 7th June 2022 through online mode.

The NEST admit card has been released for successfully registered candidates only. Registered candidates are able to download their admit card by login into the website of exam conducting authority.
