State exam

The students who are looking for the admission in B.Tech courses of various government and non-government colleges of Tripura, must appear in the JEE Main exam 2016 or Tripura JEE 2016 exam. Selection of the students for B.Tech courses will be done according to the marks gained in the entrance exam.

B.Tech Admission 2016

The candidates who are seeking to take admission in the engineering colleges of Tripura, have to achieved maximum marks in the JEE Main exam or Tripura JEE. The application form of JEE Main 2016 has been available in the month of December 2015. The application fee can be paid by E-Challan or through online payment.

The Eligibility criteria for the admission into B.Tech courses are given below:

• The students must have passed class 12^th or its related exam with minimum 45% in mutual (40% for reserved categories)
• The students must have studied of Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects in 12^th with Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology as non-compulsory subjects.
• The students who are appearing for their Class 12^th exams, they are also qualified for JEE Main 2016 exam.
• The students must have qualified in the JEE Main exam 2016 or Tripura JEE exam.

Selection Process

All the candidates who qualify the entrance exam can apply for the counselling of the Tripura B.Tech Admission 2016. The selection process will be done as per the marks attained in the 12^th class & entrance exam. For counselling, candidates must apply online and choose their courses and colleges where they are looking for the admission. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list. Following the seat allotment, applicants must report to the allotted college/institute for the confirmation of documents and payment.
