Institute of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jamnagar
Institute of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jamnagar is the constituent institute of Gujarat Ayurveda University. It is the only ayurved Pharmacy institute in Gujarat state. It was established in the year 1999. The college has the approval from All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Campus
The college is situated in A. K. Jamal Building, Near City “B” Division Police Station, Guru Nanak Road, Jamnagar, Gujarat. The campus consists of administrative block and student block which provides all the necessary facilities for recreation and all round development of students.
Facilities
The institute has well spacious library having rich volumes of books covering each subject. The library also provides extensive access to leading Indian and international periodicals and research journals. The college has fully furnished computer lab having internet facility. It also has the labs of various department of pharmacy. The classrooms of the college are hi-tech and equipped with modern learning aids. The college also provides recreational facilities that include indoor and outdoor games.
Programmes
Institute of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jamnagar is offering education at diploma and bachelor level. The institute offers 60 seats per year for Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurved) and 60 seats for Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurved). B.Pharm (Ayu) degree will be offered after the successful completion of 4-years of the course. The courses offered by this college are as follows:

Placement
The college has the fully-fledged training and placement cell which assist the students to find right job and help them place in right organization. Students are placed in leading pharmaceutical organization. The placement cell invites organizations/recruiters for conducting campus interview. The recruiters are Himalaya Herbals, Zydus, Patanjali, Dabur, Virgo, etc.
