The seats left after the 15% AIQ counselling is converted to the 85% state quota seats. Then, the counselling is conducted for the 85% state quota seats of medical and dental courses. Manipur NEET Counselling 2026
The qualified and eligible candidates of NEET UG 2026 will be called for the counselling in the state. The seats will be allotted on merit-cum-preference basis. Candidates will have to register themselves for participating in the state counselling round.
Manipur NEET Counselling 2026 will be conducted through online mode only. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling round by filling the counselling registration form through the website of Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur.

Selection & Admission Procedure
- A state authority prepares the state merit list on the basis of which candidates will be called for the counselling.
- The seats will be allotted to the candidates according to the rank obtained by the candidates in the NEET UG examination.
- The seats will be provided after the choice filled by the candidates and it will be displayed on the website on a specified schedule.
- Candidates will be allowed for the choice filing and locking process after the verification of all required documents.
- As per the seat allotted to the candidates they will have to report the allotted college for admission within the prescribed date and time.
- Candidates will have to present in person at the counselling venue on given date and time. If a candidate does not reach on time, then their seats will be allotted to the next candidate.
Reservation Criteria
The reservation of seats will be prescribed as per the norms and rule of the Government of Manipur. Candidates must bring the relevant documents in support with the given below categories. The reservation criteria in the state medical and dental colleges of Manipur are as follows:
- Schedule Tribe: 31%
- Other Backward Class: 17%
- Schedule Caste: 2%
- General category: 50%
