NEET 2026 Application Form

Candidates must read the complete instruction before proceeding towards application form:

• Aspirants are able to start filling the application form from 8th February 2026.
• NEET 2026 registration has been started via online mode, the application form in any other mode will not be accepted.
• To complete registration procedure, aspirants are required to enter details carefully in form.
• The mandatory part of registration process is to upload requisite documents such as Photograph, signature, thumb & finger impression, etc. in specified format.
• In case of mistake while filling form, aspirants will also be able to make corrections in the filled form during edit window.
• Initially, students will have to verify their Mobile Number & Email ID through OTP for further communication regarding exam, as it will necessarily step to follow.
• After completing all the registration steps, one will have to download their confirmation page after successfully fee payment process.
• The Confirmation page will be displayed on the Digi locker of the candidates individually.
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of the filled form, as it will be required during admission process.

Application Fee:

• Candidates have to use online facilities such as debit card/ credit card & net banking to submit application fee.
• In case, after successful payment of fee the confirmation page is not generated, then aspirants have to approach their concerned bank helpline centre for issues regarding payment.
• GST & processing fee is also be paid by the aspirants.

NEET 2026 Application Correction

NEET Application correction facility will be available via online mode. It allows the students to make corrections in the application form. Aspirants will be able to make changes or modification such as personal, educational details, exam centres & other in their form during edit window.

Candidates must note that the correction window will be available for registered candidates only for specific period of time. From 10th to 12th March 2026, the correction facility will be started. Details such as medium of question paper will not be allowed to be changed.

Documents Required while Filling the application Form:

• Signature
• Recent Passport size photograph
• Postcard size photograph
• Class 10^th Mark Sheet & passing certificate
• Left & Right-hand fingers and Thumb impression
• Address Proof (present & permanent address)
• Citizenship Certificate (if required)
• Category certificate (if required)
• PwBD Certificate (wherever required)

Specifications for Uploading Images:

• Uploaded Photograph & Signature should be scanned in JPG/ JPEG format.
• Size of images should be as photograph (10-200 KB), signature (10-100 KB) & PwD certificate (50-300 KB).
• A recent passport size photograph in color or black & white with 80% face visibility. It will be mandatory to take an image on a white background.

NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill application form:

• Nationality: Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), & foreign national will be eligible to apply for exam.
• Qualification: From a recognized board, aspirants must pass class 12th or equivalent exam to apply for exam.
• Age Limit: To be eligible for NEET exam, candidates should be 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31st, 2026.
• Subject: In class 12th standard, aspirants must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as a mandatory subject.
• Marks: General category candidates with 50% marks & reserved category with 40% marks will be eligible to apply.
• Appearing: Candidates who will be appearing in qualifying examination i.e., class 12th in 2026, whose result is awaited will also be eligible to apply.

How to Apply for NEET 2026

To fill application form, candidates can follow the given step-by-step procedure below:

• Initially, visit the website of NEET 2026 (Link is mentioned above).
• Click on “Registration for NEET (UG)- 2026” option under candidate activity section.
• On the next page, press “New Registration” button to proceed.
• Instructions page will appear on the screen, read all the instructions carefully & press “Click here to proceed” button for further step.
• Verify your identity by entering the valid Mobile Number & Email ID for OTP validation.
• Now start filling the application form with all the required details such as personal ID, qualification, exam cities, contact, & other required information.
• As per the given specifications & formats, upload the requisite documents.
• Candidates also have to upload the live photograph at the time of form filling. The live photograph should be matched with the Aadhaar card.
• All uploaded images in the form should be in PDF/ JPG/ JPEG format (clear legible).
• Students must upload the images with clear visibility otherwise it may lead to rejection by authority.
• Before submitting the form, go through the complete form carefully.
• Through OTP, verify the email ID & Mobile number.
• After verifying the details, the fee payment webpage will appear on the screen.
• Submit the prescribed amount of application fee as per your category.
• Online facility to pay the fee will be debit card, credit card, net banking, Paytm services & others.
• The confirmation page will be generated on the computer screen after successful payment.
• Check the page & the copy of confirmation page will be sent to the student’s registered email ID.
• For further usage in admission, keep the hardcopy of filled application form safe.
