For B.Sc (Hons) Nursing:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens to apply for the exam.
- Age Limit: To apply, candidates must have attained a minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December 2027.
- Qualification: Applying candidates must have completed their 12th grade exam or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Gender: Only female candidates will be allowed to apply for the exam.
- Subject: In qualifying exam, candidates must have English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology as a mandatory subject.
- Marks: To be eligible, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam (50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Appearing: Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply for examination.
For B.Sc (Post Basic):
- Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed 10th/12th level exam from any recognized board to be eligible.
- Those candidates who qualified the 10+1 exam on or before 1987 will also apply.
- Diploma: Candidates must possess a Diploma in GNM from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council can apply for admission.
- Registration: Applying candidates will need to register as a nurse, RN (registered nurse) or RM (registered midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
- For male nurses who qualified before 2004, must have obtained a training certificate in GNM instead of midwifery training, for a six-month period, to be registered with the State Nursing Council.
For M.SC Nursing:
- Qualification: To apply, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent to be eligible.
- Marks: In qualifying exams, candidates must secure at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST category) to apply.
