CAT Correction Window 2026 Updates: The CAT 2026 Entrance Exam registration is closed now. Candidates who have applied within the deadline are now waiting for correction window to open at iimcat.ac.in.
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indore has announced the correction date. This will be live on 5th & 6th October 2026. Students will be able to edit few details only.

CAT exam is scheduled on 29th November 2026. The exam will be conducted through online CBT mode in three sessions.
Can I Edit My CAT 2026 Form?
Yes, the CAT entrance exam form can be edited after submission, but not all the fields are editable. Those who have registered for CAT 2026 and paid fee successfully must note that with the help of edit facility, applicants can edit the following details:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Test State/ City Preference
If a candidate tries to change any other field that is not allowed or tries to log in multiple times, the website might show you error.
IIM Indore has released notice providing the CAT application correction facility date and instructions. Candidates who have received a form submission confirmation message via email can edit their forms on the mentioned dates. Alternatively, if you see a message “Your CAT 2026 Application Form is Submitted,” you can also edit your form during this period.
How to Edit CAT Application Form 2026?
Students who want to edit the details in CAT application form, have to follow certain steps which are discussed below:
- Visit the official CAT website.
- Click on ‘Registered Candidate Login’ section.
- Now enter User Id and Password.
- The form will be now displayed. Select fields you want to edit.
- Review application after making changes and submit.
- Save and print the application form for future reference.

Last year, the CAT 2025 application correction window was open for 4 days from 4th – 7th October 2025. But this time, CAT correction window 2026 will remain open for 2 days only (October 5 & 6). Therefore, students must not wait for last date to edit details. They should make modifications as soon as the correction window opens.
The last date to apply for CAT 2026 was 15th September 2026, which was then extended to 22nd September 2026. However, window to submit application fee remained opened until 24th September 2026. This was exclusively for applicants who completed their registration by the deadline.

As the entrance exam will take place on 29th November 2026, the authority will release the CAT admit card on 4th November 2026 only for candidates whose application form has been accepted by the authority.
Further the authority has instructed students to carefully review their application and make necessary change within the time frame. The correction window is provided for limited time frame and no further extensions will be granted to students beyond the deadline.
