Every Year, CLAT entrance exam is conducted to offer admission into various UG law courses at 2 NLUs & PG law courses at 21 NLU. Candidates can get admitted into 5-year integrated LLB and one year LLM courses through CLAT exam.

CLAT 2027 Application Form

Documents Required During CLAT Registration 2027

- Front facing passport size recent photograph with plain background
- Candidate’s signature
- Relevant certificate issued by the authority (if applying under P.W.D)
- Relevant certificate issued by the authority (if applying under BPL category)
- Category certificate (if applying under SC/ST/OBC)
Application Fee:
- CLAT 2027 application fee can be submitted through online mode.
- Credit card, debit card, pay wallet or RU pay will be the online facility available to submit the fee.
- Fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances once paid.

CLAT 2027 Application Correction
Consortium of National Law Universities will provide the CLAT 2027 application correction facility through online mode. In November 2026, candidates will be able to rectify their mistakes in submitted form.
Registered candidates will be required to use their login credentials to edit the details in form. The edit window will be open for two to three days only. So candidates are suggested to done with the correction within the given periods of time, as there will be no extension made after the deadline.
CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored to apply.
- Age Limit: To apply for the exam, there will be no upper age limit for both UG & PG courses.
For UG Programmes:
- Qualifications: Applying candidates must pass class 12th level from a recognized board/ university to be eligible.
- Marks: In the qualifying exam, one must score at least 45% marks for general & 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates to apply.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in class 12th level will also be eligible for apply for admission.
For PG Programmes:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass LLB, or 5-year integrated or its equivalent from a recognized institute/ university to be eligible for admission.
- Marks: Applying candidates will be required to score at least 50% marks & 45% marks for reserved category candidates (SC/ST) to be eligible.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing for final year in April/ May 2027 can apply for CLAT entrance exam.

- On the homepage, press the “CLAT Registration 2027” link.
- Start with the registration procedure by entering the basic information such as name, email ID & mobile number.
- Validate the details by entering the received OTP on the registered mobile number.
- After validating the details, an application number will be generated.
- Now press the “Login” button & enter the login details such as application form & password.
- Fill the form with details such as personal, academic qualifications, programme, category, etc details.
- Now fill the preferences of NLUs as per your choice and select your reservation quota.
- After filling the form, upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signature & other required documents in prescribed format.
- Now press the “Payment” button to submit the fee.
