Jamia Admission 2026 Counselling
Candidates who will clear their entrance test will provisionally be selected for the counselling/ interview round. In order to be eligible for the counselling/ interview round, students are required to score more than 30% marks in the descriptive part of their written test (if applicable).
Candidates successfully clearing their counselling/ interview and Portfolio rounds will be offered admission into the University in various courses. Students will be provided admission into various courses as per the merit order.

Jamia Admission Counselling Procedure
Candidates qualifying the entrance test will get first shortlisted in the merit list as per their performance shown in the entrance test. According to their rank, candidates will be invited to attend the counselling round. The counselling letter will be downloaded by the candidates from the website.
Selected candidates will have to pay the counselling fee and fill the counselling form. Candidates will need to pay the counseling fee by online (Debit/ Credit card) or offline mode (Bank Challan). The list of provisionally selected students will be released few days after the registration.
On the basis of candidate’s marks and filled choices, seats will be allotted to them. During the counselling process candidates will need to undergoes document verification process. These documents are:
- 10th and 12th Marksheet and Pass Certificate
- Category Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Domicile Certificate of J&K Candidates
- Character Certificate
- Score Card of NEET 2026 or JEE Main 2026
- Several Passport size Photographs
- Medical Certificate etc.
Jamia Admission 2026
Admission to Jamia University will be provided to the candidates after the allotment of seats. Candidates will be required to carry their allotment letter with them at the time of admission into the University. At the time of admission, candidates must carry their necessary documents and submit to the authority.
Final admission will be provided to the candidate on the basis of their performance in the written test and Interview Rounds. Also to confirm admission, candidates must submit their admission fee.
Jamia 2024 Counselling/ Interview will be organized for some programmes. For admission into various courses in the university, students have to qualify their written test as well as counselling/ interview round.
Claim of admission into the particular course will be forfeited in case of non-appearance of aspirant in the written test or interview round.
