Admission Procedure
Candidates will get admission into law colleges of Maharashtra through the national level exam, state level exam, university level exam or direct admission. The exams score cards accepted by the colleges are CLAT 2017 & MH CET Law 2017. Some of the universities conduct its own entrance test for admission into law courses in the affiliated colleges & its university. The universities also provide a direct admission facility on the basis of merit.

Entrance Exam
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law (MH CET Law) is a state level entrance exam. It is supervised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MH CET Law is organizing for admission into 3/5 years LLB courses in Maharashtra law colleges. The entrance exam is conducting in the month of June.

Law Admission 2017
Candidates can apply for MH CET Law through online mode in the June month. Candidates can register till first week of June 2017. All the candidates have to meet the given eligibility criteria for Law Admission in Maharashtra 2017. The eligibility criteria are:
- Candidates must have complete 10+2 or equivalent examination to get admission into integrated law courses.
- Candidates have to pass a graduation degree for admission into LLB course.
- The minimum qualifying percentage is 45% for General category & 40% for reserved category.
- For admission into LLM programme, candidates have to pursue 3 or 5 years LLB degree.
- There is no age limit for admission into law courses.
Selection Procedure
Candidates who qualify the MH CET Law exam or University level exam, they have to appear in the counselling procedure for seat allotment. The counselling will be conducted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) in online mode. The seat will be allotted on the basis of the performance in the entrance exam & seat availability. The selection of candidates through direct admission will be based on the merit list & university norms. Candidates have to fill the admission form for direct admission.
