Entrance Exams

Candidates those are interested for admission in the law colleges and university can apply for national level law entrance exams such as CLAT and AILET.

Through both exam candidates can get admission on the basis of rank secured in the entrance exam. All universities and colleges considered the CLAT score card for offering admission.

There is no state level entrance exam to enter in law colleges in the state. Some of the universities conduct their own entrance exam and some offer direct admissions on the basis of 12th class marks.

  • No upper age limit to apply.
  • Candidate must pass the intermediate from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks for admission in UG course.
  • For LL.M course, candidates should posses an LL.B or equivalent degree from any recognized institution or university.
  • The candidates should obtain minimum 55% (50% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
  • Final year candidates can also apply.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on various factors such as rank of the candidate, choices filled by them, qualifying marks and document verification.

The counselling authority will generate a merit list on that basis they will invite the qualified candidates for the counselling. Candidates can download the provisional seat allotment letter to get admission in the allotted college.
