Admission Procedure

Students can apply for MBA admission in Madhya Pradesh through national level entrance test. In IIMs, admission is made through CAT while other management institutes consider MAT score for granting admission. It is necessary for the candidates to score well in entrance test to be eligible for admission.

Entrance Exam

MBA aspirants can apply for national level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. Admission to Indian Institute of Management, Indore is done through Common Admission Test (CAT). This is the national level entrance test conducted every year.

MBA Admission 2017

Candidates seeking admission in the first year MBA courses are required to score well in entrance examination. Basic eligibility that must be fulfilled by the candidates for MBA admission is mentioned below:

  • Aspirants who have completed/appearing graduation from the recognized institution are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have passed the bachelor degree with minimum aggregate of 50% marks for unreserved category and 45% for reserved category candidates.

Selection Procedure

After the result announcement, merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s rank in entrance exam. The priority will be given to those candidates who secured highest rank. After the publication of merit list, students are called for the counselling process. During the counselling procedure, candidates have to select the choices for the colleges and stream. Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank scored and the choice of preferences. The candidates are required to report to the assigned institute with seat allotment letter for taking admission in MBA. The admission will be confirmed after the successful payment of the admission fee.
