NEET Exam Update: In a recent update for the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test, NEET 2026, the syllabus has been released.
The National Medical Commission has finalised the NEET 2026 syllabus and has released the notice. Medical aspirants can now check the full subject-wise syllabus.
According to the updated NEET syllabus PDF for the upcoming session, the NNMC has not removed any chapters from the three subjects – physics, chemistry, and biology.
Then, through the notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) said that the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), an autonomous board under the Commission, has finalised the syllabus for NEET (UG) 2026.
The Commission informed that the updated NEET UG 2026 syllabus has been uploaded on the official NMC website for public reference. All stakeholders and aspirants have been advised to refer only to the revised syllabus while preparing for the NEET UG 2026 examination for the academic session 2026–27.

Below are the steps that need to be followed to check the NEET syllabus:
- Go to the NMC respective website (NEET Syllabus PDF given below)
- The homepage will appear on the screen.
- Go to the what’s new section on the right side.
- Click on the “Updated syllabus for NEET UG 2026” link.
- NEET syllabus pdf will be displayed on the screen.
- Check and download it for further use.
NEET UG 2026 Official Syllabus PDF
The NEET UG 2026 syllabus includes 20 units in Physics. Chemistry comprises 20 units in total, with 12 units from Physical Chemistry and 8 units from Organic Chemistry. Biology includes 10 units. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the complete syllabus PDF and plan their NEET preparation accordingly.
NTA has yet to announce the NEET UG 2026 exam date, but candidates can expect the exam to be held in the first week of May 2026.
