BHU Law Entrance 2020: Result, Exam Dates (Out), Counselling
BHU Law 2020 Result has been declared on 1st October 2020. GD & PI Round for MBA admission has been postponed due to COVID 19. The exam has been organized by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Banaras Hindu University was founded in the year 1916 by Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. The university organizes university level exam known as UET & PET for providing admission in various law courses (LLB, BA LLB & LLM). UET stands for Undergraduate Entrance Test & PET stands for Postgraduate Entrance Test. Through BHU UET & PET, candidates will get admission into UG & PG law courses in BHU. BHU Law 2020 Result
BHU Law 2020 Result has been declared through online mode. For UET, result has been declared on 1st October 2020 whereas PET result has been declared on 26th September 2020.
The result contaisn all details like candidate’s marks, overall merit & merit within applied category.
BHU Law 2020 Counselling
BHU Law 2020 Counselling will be organised in October 2020 for qualified candidates. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process.
Candidates will have to report at the counselling venue on prescribed date & time. Seats will be given to candidates as per filled choices, seats availability, and as per their merit.
BHU Law 2020 Application Form
Candidates must go through following details regarding BHU Law 2020 Application Form:
- BHU Law 2020 Application form has been made available via online mode.
- While filling application form, candidates will have to upload passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
- It is also mandatory to provide valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form.
- There will be no need to send any hard copy of filled in application form to the exam conducting authority.
- At last, candidates are advised not to forget to take multiple print outs of filled in application form for further use.
Application Fee:
- Candidates can submit the application fee through both online as well as offline mode.
- General category candidates will have to submit Rs. 600 while reserved category candidates will have to submit Rs. 300.
- The online mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net-banking.
- HDFC Bank Challan method can be used via offline mode.
BHU Law 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through following details regarding BHU Law 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
LLB (Hons) Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify B.A, B.Sc., B.Com & other equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
- Percentage: Candidates must qualify with minimum 50% (45% for OBC; 40% for ST/SC) in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates graduated/post graduated from open universities without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses as per the Bar Council of India.
B.A LLB (Hons) Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify Intermediate to be eligible for test.
- Percentage: Candidates must score minimum of 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% marks for reserved category in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates graduated/post graduated from open universities without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses as per the Bar Council of India.
LL.M Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify 3 year or 5 year LLB degree from any recognized board or university to be eligible.
- Percentage: Students must score minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates graduated/post graduated from open universities without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses as per the Bar Council of India
BHU Law 2020 Admit Card
BHU Law 2020 Admit Card has been released through online mode. It is made available on 20th & 21st August 2020 for PET & UET respectively. Candidates have to enter their unique registration ID & password to download the admit card.
It is mandatory for all qualified candidates to bring one photo ID card along with admit card at the examination center. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card & ID proof.
BHU Law 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates are advised to go through following points regarding BHU Law 2020 Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through online mode.
- Exam Duration: Paper duration will be of 2 hours.
- No of Questions: There will be 150 MCQS (LLB & BA LLB); 120 MCQs (LLM) in the paper.
- Marks: The paper will be of 450 (LLB & BA LLB); 360 (LLM) marks.
- Language: The questions will be asked in both English as well as Hindi languages.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will consist of 3 marks.
- Negative marking: 1 mark will get deduct for every wrong answer.
BHU Law 2020 Syllabus
BHU Law 2020 Syllabus will be different for the UG & PG law courses. UG law courses will consist of topics such as General Awareness, Aptitude & Mental Ability, Current affairs, and much more.
PG law courses will consist of topics such as law of crimes, Muslim law & Hindu, Indian Evidence Act, Constitutional law etc.

I missed my exam whis was held on 27th aug. 2020 due to some uncertain reason. Is their any other option available so that i can give exam again or any other way to get admission in LL.B program. Please help me out,i need it.
