IISER 2021: Seat Allotment (Released), Cut Off, Counselling, Admission

IISER 2021 Seventh Allotment has been released for SCB channel on 10th December 2021. Admission is done through three channels SCB, KVPY, and on the basis of JEE Advanced exam. It is a national level test which is organized by the Indian Institutes of Science Education & research (IISER). Through IISER SCB Aptitude test, admission is offered in 5 year dual degree programme of BS-MS. SCB will be the only stream through which candidates can get admission on the basis of entrance test. Candidates will be offered admission into seven IISER institutions situated in Tirupati, Mohali, Bhopal, Berhampur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Pune.  IISER Admission 2021 Application Form

Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission 2021 Application Form:

• IISER 2021 Application Form for all SCB & KVPY channels has been made available via online mode from 1st July 2021.
• Application form has been released on 20th October 2021 for JEE Advance channel.
• For each channel, application form can get released on different dates.
• Candidates are allowed to apply for all three channels.
• Students are required to fill their institution choices among all seven IISER in the application form.
• During registration, candidates must have to upload scanned image of passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
• Application correction window is opened from 12th to 13th November 2021 for JEE channel.
• It is also be mandatory for all candidates to provide valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form.
• At last, candidates are advised to take printout of filled in application form for further use.

Application Fee:

• Candidates are able to submit the application fee via online mode.
• The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• General category candidates must have to submit Rs. 2000/-.
• The application fee for SC/ ST & Kashmiri Migrants (KM) is Rs. 1000/-.

IISER Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Indian citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates are eligible for the examination.
• For KVPY Channel, candidates must have a valid KVPY fellowship commencing for year 2021-2022. It is also mandatory for candidates to meet cut-off criteria which is applicable.
• For JEE Advanced Channel, general category candidates must qualify JEE Advanced 2021 & will have to obtain rank within 10000 in Common Rank List (CRL). For reserved category, the category rank will be considered.
• For SCB Channel, candidates must be either qualified or appearing in 12^th with Science as mandatory subject to be eligible for the examination.
• SCB (Cut-off) – The Cut-off percentage will be prescribed by the authority & must be obtained in order to be eligible.
• Candidates applying through SCB Channel will have to appear in IISER Aptitude Test 2021.

IISER Admission 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission 2021 Exam Pattern:

• Exam Mode: IISER 2021 is organized via online (computer-based) mode.
• Number of Questions: Each subject consist of 15 questions.
• Total Questions: There will be total 60 questions in the question paper.
• Duration: Candidates will get 3 hours to complete the examination.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be of 3 marks.
• Negative marking: 1 mark will get deduct for every wrong answer.

IISER Admission 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for IISER admission will consist of topics from NCERT syllabus of class 11^th & 12^th. The topics will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) subjects.

• Physics: It will consist of topics as Kinematics, Motion of systems of particles & rigid body, Oscillations, waves, optics, atoms, and much more.
• Chemistry: The topics under chemistry will be surface chemistry, p-block elements, solid state, electrochemistry, biomolecules, equilibrium, etc.
• Mathematics: It will include topics as relations & functions, straight lines, matrices, vectors, three dimensional geometry, integrals, and much more.
• Biology: Topics will be Human Physiology, plant physiology, reproductions, ecology & environment, and much more.

IISER Admission 2021 Admit Card

IISER Admission Admit Card has been made available in October 2021 for SCB channel test. It has been released on website via online mode. Candidates have to enter their login credentials to download the hall ticket.

The admit card contain all the details like candidates name, roll number, exam center, and many other exam instructions. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card at the examination centre. Without admit card & valid ID proof, no candidates will be allowed to sit for the examination.

IISER Admission 2021 Answer Key

The authority will release SCB channel answer key in the November 2021. Candidates will be able to download IISER 2021 Answer Key on website via online mode. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to assume their marks even before the result declaration.

The answer key will contain answer of all the questions asked in the question paper. Candidates will have to use their registered ID & password to check their answer key.

IISER Admission 2021 Cut-off

The authority will release IISER cut-off via online mode. Cut-off will be the minimum marks candidates will have to score to qualify the examination. It depends on various factors such as no. of candidates, difficulty level of exam, previous year cut-off trends and various other factors.

IISER Admission 2021 Result

Candidates will be able to download IISER Result in December 2021. It will be published via online mode. To check the scorecard, candidates will have to enter roll number, registered ID & password.

Candidates who will appear for SCB test will be able to check their result.  Result will contain all the details like candidates name, roll number, their marks scored in each subject, and total marks.

IISER Admission 2021 Counselling

The counselling session for IISER 2021 is organised in the month of July for all three channels. The authority will conduct separate web based counselling for all three channels. Seat allotment for third round has been released on 11th November 2021.

Seats will be given to candidates on the reservation policy & various other factors. Seat allotment has been released on 26th October 2021 for SCB & KVPY channel. 2nd allotment has been released on 5th November 2021 for KVPY & SCB channel.

Seat allotment has been released on 18th November 2021 for JEE Advanced channel. It is mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session.

Seat allotment has been released on 10th December 2021 for seventh round.
