Admission Procedure
Candidates seeking admission in MBA programme are required to appear the national level entrance test. Almost every college of Punjab accept MAT (Management Aptitude Test) scores. The entrance test qualifiers are required to appear the counselling round for seat allotment.

The management institutions of Punjab provide admission through national level entrance exams like MAT (Management Aptitude Test), CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), etc. Punjab Technical University (PTU) does not conduct any entrance exam. The admission into MBA programme is done based on CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) socre.

The admission process begins with the filling the application form of entrance exam by candidate. The application form is provided by the respective exam conducting authorities. The eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by MBA aspirants is mentioned below:
- Minimum prescribed educational qualification is graduation passed from the recognized institution.
- Students should have secured 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates appearing in final year graduation are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected for MBA admission on the basis of entrance test. Merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s performance in entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling process. Seat allotment will be made according to the merit list and availability of seats in colleges/universities. After seat allotment, candidates can download the seat allotment letter. Thereafter, report to the assigned college for further admission process.
