NIFT 2022 Seat Allotment (6th Round) has been released on 20th July 2022. Examination has been conducted through online mode as a proctored examination. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts a national level entrance exam every year for candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG Courses of Fashion and Design field. Qualified candidates of this examination will get admission in courses like Bachelor of Design, Bachelors of Fashion Technology, Master of Fashion Technology, Master of Design, Master of Fashion Management etc. at various campuses of NIFT located in New Delhi, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Patna, Shillong, Srinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kannur and Raebareli.  Candidates will also need to qualify the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). NIFT 2022 Result

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the result for every exam participate candidates individually through online mode. Candidates are able to check their result from the website of Institute by entering any two of their Roll No., Date of Birth, and Application No.

Result has been made available to the candidates from 10th March 2022. The NIFT result 2022 contain the information like Candidates Name, Roll No., Marks scored by candidates in examination and qualifying status of candidates. Final result has been declared on 17th May 2022 for UG & PG courses.

NIFT 2022 Counselling

The counselling process can be done by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) from 21st May 2022. Candidates are able to participate in the counselling process by registering themselves on the website of exam conducting authority through online mode only.

The counselling process is conducted by the authority in various round as per the availability of vacant seats after each round of counselling. The counselling process is conducted for shortlisted candidates from the GD and PI round.

GD/ PI has been started from 7th April 2022. Seat allotment for first round has been released on 14th June 2022 through online mode. It has been released on 21st June 2022 for second round. Seat allotment for fourth round has been released on 8th July 2022.

It has been released on 12th July 2022 for 5th round. For 6th round allotment has been released on 20th July 2022.

Candidates have required to verify their documents/ certificates for the document verification procedure in their allotted centres. The required documents have mentioned below:

• 10th & 12th Mark sheet
• 10th & 12th Pass certificate

• Several Passport size photographs
• Transfer Certificate
• Medical Certificate
• Affidavit of provisional admission

NIFT 2022 Application Form

Here, following are the complete details candidates need to know before filling NIFT Application form 2022:

• The NIFT Application Form has been made available through online mode.
• Candidates must have to confirm their eligibility for the examination before filling the application form.
• The Application form has been made available from 3rd December 2021.
• Candidates must have to fill the application form with authentic details only and details in 10^th marksheet will be considered as authentic, any alteration in details will cause rejection of application form.
• The application form is remain available till 17th January 2022 only, Candidates need to fill their application form before the last date of submission.
• Candidates are advised to keep the printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.

Application Fee:

NIFT 2022 Application fee can be submitted through online mode only. Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking Payment gateways for transaction of Application fee.

NIFT Application Correction

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will provide the correction facility after the completion of registration process. The NIFT Application correction facility is made available through online mode for every registered candidate. Candidates are able to rectify their mistake within the correction period only.

Candidates are able to use the correction facility by entering their login details. The correction facility is applicable for few days only so, candidates have to rectify before the last date of correction facility.

The facility is applicable for few details only, so candidates are advised to fill the application form very carefully to avoid any issue due to mistakes in the application form.

NIFT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the following NIFT eligibility norms to confirm their eligibility:

Age Limit:

There will be no upper or lower age limit to apply for PG programmes. Though, the candidates applying for UG courses should not be older than 24 years as on 1st August 2022 (5 year relaxation for ST/SC).

Qualification:

B.F.Tech (Apparel Production)	Passed 12th level degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognized board or university.
B.Des Programme	Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 level degree from a recognized board or university.
M.F.Tech Programme	Passed Bachelor’s degree in B.F.Tech from NIFT OR B.Tech/ B.E from a recognized institute or university.
M.Des Programme	Passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university OR Should have done UG Diploma in UG design (3 years) from NIFT or NID.

NIFT 2022 Exam Pattern

Following will be the exam pattern of NIFT Examination:

• Exam Mode & Date: The Exam has been conducted on 6th February 2022 through online proctored mode.
• Time Duration: 2 & 3 hours will be given for completing the paper as per the courses.
• Type of Questions: The paper will consist of multiple choice type questions.
• Language: The question paper will be made available in both English & Hindi language.
• Sections: The sections in the paper will be – Quantitative Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical, Current Affairs & G.K and Communication Ability.
• Marking Scheme: 25% of full marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NIFT 2022 Syllabus
