NIFT 2026 Answer Key – Released (Provisional)

For admission into offered UG and PG courses, students will have to qualify written test, situation test and GD/ PI rounds. NIFT Entrance exam is conducted by the NTA.

NIFT 2026 Provisional Answer Key
Candidates are able to download the answer keys as it is made available on the portal online. The NIFT 2026 provisional answer keys can be downloaded on 17th February 2026.
In case of observation/ objections against answer key, candidates can submit it till 17th February 2025 with payment of Rs. 500/-. No objections is entertained by candidates after the last date.
NIFT 2026 Answer Key Releasing Date
NIFT 2026 Answer key is uploaded few days after the entrance exams. The exams has been held on 9th February 2025. The authority has published answer key through online mode.
Also, the challenge facility is available through login on 19th February 2025 (upto 11.50 pm). No objections have entertained through any other mode like post, email etc.
How to Download NIFT 2026 Answer Key

- Click on the notification provided as ‘Answer key of GAT written test’.
- Click on the login link provided on the website.
- Enter registered user id and password.
- Now download the answer key.
- Print the answer key and keep it for any further reference.
How to Challenge NIFT 2026 Answer Key
Students who have any objections or suggestions against the answer key are able to submit it during the provided time period. Objections can be viewed and submitted from 17th to 19th February 2026. No Objections will be accepted through any offline mode.
For challenging candidates have to submit fee of Rs. 500/- for every objection/ observation before the last date. The fee is non-refundable in nature. Students must login with their user ID & password and submit valid inputs for re-examination of answer key in the provided space.
NIFT 2026 Result/ Merit List
After the release of answer key, the authority has published the results after few days. If candidates objection against the key will be found valid by experts, then the authority will release the final revised answer key.
Based on the final answer key released, the NIFT results will be evaluated and declared by the authority. Only after the modification of answer key, the written test results will be declared. It will be announced in February/ March 2026. Final result for PG will be released in second week of May 2026 & in third week of May 2026 for UG courses.

Reservation Criteria
Academic programmes in NIFT will be allotted according to recommendations made by the NIFTs evaluation committee. Candidates should make sure that they must have a valid & verified category certificate as they have chosen during registration.
For ST/ SC/ OBC -NCL/ GEN-EWS/ PWD/ FN candidates, certain seats will be reserved in each course which are:

NIFT 2026 Situation Test / Interview Round
After the written test result declaration of NIFT 2026, the authority will organize the situation test and interview rounds for further admission procedure.
Interview process will be started in May 2026 onwards for PG Courses. Seat allotment for first round will be released in first week of June 2026.
Only the ones who have successfully qualified the NIFT GAT/ CAT, will only be shortlisted for situation test/ PI (Personal Interview) round.
