Which IIM will conduct CAT 2025?
The CAT examination is conducted on a rotational basis by one of the 06 IIMs. For this year, it is expected that IIM Kozhikode will conduct the CAT 2025. Official details regarding the conducting body and the examination will be announced via the notification.
For this CAT 2025, the notification is expected to be released in the last week of July (30th July 2025) as per the previous year trends.
The CAT 2025 registration will begin in August 2025, and candidates will be allowed to submit the online application till September 2025. There is no other mode than to apply for the exam.
IIM CAT 2025 Exam Date
In the last week of November 2025 (30th November 2025), candidates can expect the CAT 2025 to take place. Last year it was held on 24th November 2025. Examination will be held in 3 shifts.
As per the CAT exam pattern, aspirants will be given 2 hours to answer 68 questions. The questions are divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension VARC Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning DILR and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
There are 24 questions in the first, 28 in the second, and 22 in the third section. For each section, candidates will be given 40 minutes.
