VITEEE 2024 Result will be announced on 3rd May 2024. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is conducted by  VIT University. It is a university-level admission test for various undergraduate and Engineering degree courses. Interested aspirants can enroll in a variety of UG courses at VIT. Admission to B.Tech courses will be granted at campuses situated in Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal.

VITEEE 2024 Result

VITEEE 2024 Result will be published online on the website by VIT University. It will be released on third of May 2024 for each candidate. The ranking of candidates will be sent to them via registered mobile number. 

Authority will compile a merit list based on the overall marks scored by the applicants in the entrance exam. To download the results, aspirants must enter their application number and password. Keep a hard copy of the result for future use in the admission procedure.

How to Download VITEEE 2024 Result

Mentioned below are the steps to download VITEEE 2024 Result:

• Visit the online website by clicking the link. (Link will be provided above)
• In a new tab, click the link.
• Enter your password and ten-digit application number.
• After entering verification code, click the “submit” button. 
• The result will show up on screen of your computer.
• Verify the information, including  application number, name, gender, DOB and VITEEE rank of  applicant.
• After selecting “Print” option, take two or three prints for further usage. 

VITEEE 2024 Merit List

VITEEE 2024 Merit List for all qualifying applicants will be published by the authority. It includes the names of applicants who meet the authority’s cut off marks criteria. Candidates are invited to the counselling procedure based on their placement on the merit list. Candidates who choose to participate in counselling will be assigned a unique rank. 

The merit list will be published through online mode after the announcement of  result. On the merit list, candidates may also see the rank that will be assigned to them. The authority will notify applicants by SMS to their registered mobile number.

Tie Breaking Criteria

If more than one applicant has the same score, VITEEE 2024 Tie- Breaking Criteria will be used. To decide rank position, the following factors will be used:

• Applicants who successfully answer the exam question will obtain a higher rank.
• In the event of a tie, the candidate with the fewest negative marks on the exam question will be ranked higher. 
• If the tie continues, the older candidate will be given priority and will be ranked higher by the authority. 

VITEEE 2024 Cut Off

The authority will release  VITEEE cut off 2024 marks when the results are declared. The university will determine  cut off marks based on number of candidates taking the exam, the difficulty level of  exam and other considerations. 

Following that, each institute will announce its cut off marks based on its choices. The university will create a different list for each branch and location. It will be available on the website through online mode. 

VITEEE 2024 Counselling

VITEEE 2024 Counselling procedure will take place in first week of May 2024. It will be commenced through online mode. Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on their performance in the entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend counselling procedure. 

By completing the registration form, candidates will be able to register for VITEEE counselling procedure. Applicants must fill out the form with their category, preferred course and campuses. They must bring several vital documents for verification during the counselling process.
