NEET PG 2025 Answer Key

This year, NBE has released the answer key on its website as per orders of SC. NEET PG Answer Key comprise of correct answers of the questions asked in the examination. It is also released through online mode in PDF format by various coaching institutes. Through the answer key, candidates get an estimate idea about their marks.

Earlier, answer key is not released due to Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check unofficial answer keys. Post NEET PG 2025 Answer Key, result has been declared by the authority.

NEET PG 2025 Result/ Merit List

NEET PG 2025 Result has been released on 19th August 2025. Candidates are able to get their results through online mode. Candidates must obtain their score card from the website by entering their login details. No facility for re-evaluation/ re-checking/ re-totalling will be provided to the candidates.

Result is valid only for the current academic session. If two or more candidates obtain same marks, then the position is determined by following the tie breaking criteria. NEET Merit list is released by the authority after announcement of result. It is overall merit position of the candidates those have appeared for the exam.

NEET PG 2025 Cut Off

Cut off for NEET PG 2025 is made available via online mode. Cut off are the minimum scores that candidates need to obtain in examination. NEET PG 2025 Cut Off for General/ EWS category will be 50%, however 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC & 45% for UR PWD candidates. Candidates need to qualify above or equal to the cut off marks to be eligible.

Cut off marks are determined on the basis of various factors i.e. difficulty level of exam, number of aspirants appeared for exam, previous year’s cut off trends. Cut off is made available with or after the announcement of result.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling

NEET PG counselling is being organised by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It is organised through online mode. It is compulsory for the shortlisted candidates to participate in counselling. Counselling is done in different rounds. It is organised in various steps i.e. online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting, etc.

Seats are allotted to the candidates based on choices filled by them, availability of seats & reservation criteria. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to download their allotment letter from the website. Candidates need to report to the reporting centre for document verification & further admission procedure. Candidates are required to bring original as well as photocopies of documents for verification.

NEET PG 2025 Admit Card

NEET PG Admit Card 2025 is a mandatory document which is needed on the day of exam. Candidates must download their admit card on 31st July 2025. Hall ticket has details i.e. name of the candidates, roll number, date & time of exam, photograph & signature, exam guidelines etc.

In case of any discrepancy on admit card, candidates must immediately contact the authority. Admit card can be downloaded by entering login credentials i.e. application number or date of birth. Along with the hall ticket, candidates must bring one photo identity proof i.e. Voter ID, PAN card, aadhaar card, etc.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check NEET PG Exam Pattern in the given section:

  • Mode of Exam: NEET PG 2025 examination is held through online (CBT) mode.
  • Shift: As per recent changes, NEET PG will be held in single shift.
  • Questions Type: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes will be provided to solve the question paper.
  • Paper Language: Question paper will be available in English language.
  • Number of Questions: Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 4 marks will be provided.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

NEET PG 2025 Syllabus

NEET PG 2025 Syllabus is released through online mode. Syllabus comprises subjects as per the graduate medical education regulations issued by MCI with approval of government. Appearing candidates must follow the subjects of their graduation i.e. MBBS/ BDS to prepare for NEET PG exam.

Syllabus contains subject wise topics that will be prepared on the basis of clinical, pre-clinical, para para-clinical subjects. Some of the clinical subjects are ENT, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecologist.

How to Fill NEET PG 2025 Application Form

  • Step-1: Go through the NEET PG website (Link is given above).
  • Step-2: Register yourself on the website & generate a User ID and Password.
  • Step-3: Click on the ‘login’ button after successful registration & enter User ID and Password.
  • Step-4: Fill application form with the required details, i.e., personal, educational, exam centre, etc.
  • Step-5: Upload required documents i.e., photograph, signature & thumb impression.
  • Step-6: Go to the payment section & pay required fee via online mode.
  • Step-7:  Preview all the filled details and click on the submit application button.
  • Step-8: Take printout of the registration form & keep it safe for future purposes.

NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply, candidates must check & fulfil NEET PG Eligibility Criteria mentioned below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS pass certificate from any institute recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) to be eligible.
  • Age Limit: There is no specified age limit to apply for NEET PG exam.
  • Internship: Candidates must have completed 1 year of internship on or before 31st August, 2025.
  • Registration: Registration with Medical Council of India (MCI), NMC, or any State Medical Council (SMC) will be necessary.
  • Attempt Limit: There is no limit to attempts NEET PG entrance examination.

 For Foreign Medical Graduates:

  • Nationality: Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will be eligible to apply.
  • Internship: Candidates must complete one year of internship on or before 11th August, 2025.
  • Registration: Foreign medical graduate candidates should have registered with the MCI/ SMC after obtaining the FMGE Pass Certificate.
  • FMGE Pass Certificate: Candidates who want to appear NEET PG exam & have completed their primary medical qualification from outside India will need to pass Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) exam first.
