NExT (Nation Exit Test) Step-1 exam is most likely to be implemented in year 2025. No official announcement regarding dates or details released yet. NEET PG 2025 Registration will be started from March 2025.

NEET PG 2025 Application Form

  • Candidates will be able to fill their application form from the month of March 2025.
  • NEET PG 2025 Registration form will be made available in online mode.
  • Eligible candidates must fill application form carefully to avoid any kind of rejection.
  • Candidate will be able to submit application form only once, in case of more than one application form it will not be accepted.
  • Fill all the details carefully in registration form including personal, communication, exam centre, educational etc.
  • Upload required documents i.e. scanned photograph, signature & thumb impression with correct format.
  • Last date to submit application form will be till first week of May 2025.
  • Correction window will also be opened by the authority to edit details from second week of May 2025.
  • Check all the details carefully in duly filled application form and keep a printout safe for future references.

  • Application fee will be submitted through online mode.
  • Online payment will be received using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  • Fee will be non-refundable & non-transferable under any case.

How to Fill NEET PG 2025 Application Form

  • Step-1: Go through the NEET PG website (Link will be given above).
  • Step-2: Register yourself on the website & generate a User ID and Password.
  • Step-3: Click on the ‘login’ button after successful registration & enter User ID and Password.
  • Step-4: Fill application form with asked details i.e. personal, educational, exam centre etc.
  • Step-5: Upload required documents i.e. photograph, signature & thumb impression.
  • Step-6: Go to the payment section & pay required fee via online mode.
  • Step-7:  Preview all the filled details and click on the submit application button.
  • Step-8: Take printout of the registration form & keep it safe for future purpose.

NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply, candidates must check & fulfill NEET PG Eligibility Criteria mentioned below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS pass certificate from any institute recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) to be eligible.
  • Age Limit: There is no specified age limit to apply for NEET PG exam.
  • Internship: Candidates must have completed 1 year of internship on or before 31st August, 2025.
  • Registration: Registration with Medical Council of India (MCI), NMC or any State Medical Council (SMC) will be necessary.
  • Attempt Limit: There is no limit to attempt NEET PG entrance examination.

 For Foreign Medical Graduates:

  • Nationality: Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will be eligible to apply.
  • Internship: Candidates must complete one year of internship on or before 11th August, 2025.
  • Registration: Foreign medical graduate candidates should have registered with the MCI/ SMC after obtaining the FMGE Pass Certificate.
  • FMGE Pass Certificate: Candidates those want to appear NEET PG exam & have completed their primary medical qualification from outside India will need to pass Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) exam first.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check NEET PG Exam Pattern in the given section:

  • Mode of Exam: NEET PG 2025 examination will be held through online (CBT) mode.
  • Questions Type: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes will be provided to solve the question paper.
  • Paper Language: Question paper will be available in English language.
  • Number of Questions: Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 4 marks will be provided.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

NEET PG 2025 Syllabus

NEET PG 2025 syllabus will be released through online mode. Syllabus will comprise subjects as per the graduate medical education regulations issued by MCI with approval of government. Appearing candidates must follow the subjects of their graduation i.e. MBBS/ BDS to prepare for NEET PG exam.

Syllabus will contain subject wise topics which will be prepared on the basis of clinical, pre-clinical, para clinical subjects. Some of the clinical subjects are ENT, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecologist.

NEET PG 2025 Admit Card

NEET PG Admit Card 2025 will be a mandatory document which will be needed on the day of exam. Candidates must download their admit card from fourth week of June 2025. Hall ticket will have details i.e. name of the candidates, roll number, date & time of exam, photograph & signature, exam guidelines etc.

In case of any discrepancy on admit card, candidates must immediately contact to the authority. Admit card will be downloaded by entering login credentials i.e. application number or date of birth. Along with the hall ticket, candidates must bring one photo identity proof i.e. Voter ID, PAN card, adhaar card, etc.

NEET PG 2025 Answer Key

Answer key will not be released due to Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). NEET PG Answer Key will comprise of correct answers of the questions asked in the examination. It will be released through online mode in PDF format by various coaching institutes. Through the answer key, candidates will get an estimate idea about their marks.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam, will be able to check unofficial answer keys. Post NEET PG 2025 Answer Key, result be declared by the authority.

NEET PG 2025 Result/ Merit List

NEET PG 2025 Result will be announced in the month of July/ August 2025. Candidates will be able to get their result through online mode. Candidates must obtain their score card from the website by entering login details. No facility for re-evaluation/ re-checking/ re-totalling will be provided to the candidates.

Result will be valid only for the current academic session. If two or more candidates will obtain same marks then the position will be determined by following the tie breaking criteria. NEET Merit list will be released by the authority after announcement of result. It will be overall merit positions of the candidates those have appeared for the exam.

NEET PG 2025 Cut Off

Cut off for NEET PG 2025 will be made available via online mode. Cut off will be the minimum scores that candidates will need to obtain in examination. NEET PG 2025 Cut Off for General/ EWS category will be 50%, however 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC & 45% for UR PWD candidates. Candidates will need to qualify above or equal to the cut off marks to be eligible.

Cut off marks will determine on the basis of various factors i.e. difficulty level of exam, number of aspirants appeared for exam, previous year’s cut off trends. Cut off will be made available with or after the announcement of result.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling

NEET PG counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It will be organised through online mode. It will be compulsory for the shortlisted candidates to participate in counselling. Counselling will be done in different rounds. It will done in steps i.e. online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting etc.

Seats will be alloted to the candidates based on choices filled by them, availability of seats & reservation criteria. Candidates who have allotted seats will need to download their allotment letter from the website. Candidates will need to report to the reporting centre for document verification & further admission procedure. Candidates will also be required to bring original as well as photocopies of document for verification.
